Emily Hendrick is an experienced fundraiser for nonprofit organizations focused on environmental issues and social justice. Before joining The Climate Center in 2021, she served as Friends of the Earth’s Grant Writer, raising foundation funding for projects ranging from arctic shipping standards to China sustainable finance. Prior to that, she worked in major gifts for the Environmental Defense Fund in Colorado, and spent two years working on fundraising strategies with grassroots NGOs in Guatemala and Peru. Emily holds an M.P.A. from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and a B.A. in Environmental Policy from Middlebury College. She resides in San Francisco, serves on the board of Mayan Families, and is a Section Chair for the American Alpine Club.
