AB 2944 (Petrie-Norris) Requires the Air Resources Board (ARB) to include an evaluation of how carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS) technologies are contributing to the state’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction goals in an annual report to the Legislature. STATUS: DEAD. Approved in the Assembly May 23; Double-referred to the Senate Environmental Quality and Judiciary Committees; amended/approved June 15 in the Senate Environmental Quality Committee.
