Community Gathering on Climate Science with Carl Mears

Dr. Carl Mears will present “What’s Really Going On with the Climate?  A Scientist Perspective” on Wednesday, June 30 at 5:30 to 7:30 pm (at the Glaser Center, 547 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa). Carl is a senior scientist at Remote Sensing Systems and a participant in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the worlds leading climate authority.  He is also a Board Member of Climate Protection Campaign.

This gathering is an opportunity for community members to learn, mingle with friends and network with new folks.  They are potluck style; attendees are asked to bring something to share finger food or something to drink (wine, beer or an nonalcoholic beverage). Co-sponsored by: the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, Santa Rosa – Advocates on Social Justice Committee and Leadership Institute for Ecology and Economy.
