Veronica Palmer is the Individual Giving Manager at The Climate Center, where she partners with donors to advance bold climate solutions and build the philanthropic support needed to create a more resilient future for California.
Veronica brings nearly a decade of fundraising experience from the Tahoe Rim Trail Association, where she cultivated relationships with donors, members, volunteers, and community partners to protect access to the outdoors. She believes meaningful philanthropy begins with authentic relationships and enjoys connecting people with opportunities to make a lasting impact. She is also a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
Originally from southern Ohio, Veronica’s passion for the outdoors led her to complete thru-hikes of both the Appalachian Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail. Those experiences inspired her and her husband to settle in the Tahoe Basin, where they continue to enjoy the mountains they fell in love with.
Outside of work, Veronica can be found exploring the Tahoe outdoors with her husband and two sons. Whether paddleboarding, hiking, or mountain biking, she enjoys sharing her love of nature with her family and is committed to helping protect the places future generations will call home.
