Lisa Whitescarver has lived in Marin County with her family since 2000. She is an owner and operator of commercial real estate at North River Company San Rafael, and formerly at Hines San Francisco. Her experience includes building design, operations, debt and equity finance, and regulatory entitlements. She is currently active in implementing building upgrades that diminish the carbon footprint of Bay Area commercial buildings. Having received her bachelor’s degree from Yale University, she sits on the Leadership Council of the Yale School for the Environment. She also serves on the leadership team of Carbon Neutral Kent Woodlands, a neighborhood organization aimed at building teamwork through carbon footprint reduction in neighborhood residential homes. Lisa enjoys native plant gardening, backpacking, kayaking, and spending time with her husband and four kids.
