Co-Founder and Chief Scientist, Anvil Capture Systems

Dr. Corey Myers is Chief Scientist and Co-Founder at Anvil Capture Systems. Prior to joining Anvil, he was the lead engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) for CO2 mineralization projects. Dr. Myers was the lead engineer on the KCAC Carbon Mineralization Field Test — the world’s largest test of CO2 mineralization technologies. He also was the LLNL lead on a Department of Energy (DOE)-funded project to set the protocols for Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) for CO2 mineralization-based CDR processes. Dr. Myers sat on the Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) Innovation Roadmap team for DOE in the areas of mineralization and marine CDR.
