The Climate Center, World Ocean Council, and ICOS-ERIC are partnering for an Official Side Event at COP 29 on responsible carbon dioxide removal (CDR). Reaching net zero and net negative requires deploying new and scaling current CDR strategies while establishing safeguards for communities and ecosystems.

We will hear from experts from around the world on the importance of community engagement, considerations for responsible research and development for marine-CDR, scientific rigor needed behind Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV), and the experience of landowners and farmers in carbon markets.

RSVP is not required.
