Roberto is senior partner at Zero Emission Advisors (ZEA), helping private and public entities to develop actionable plans for the transition to a zero emissions future. Throughout his career in engineering, construction, and energy, he has aligned multiple stakeholders to implement innovative infrastructure and energy projects around the world. His current areas of interest include lowering the embodied carbon in project materials, equipment, and construction, and the development of climate adaptive/resilient infrastructure.
Prior to ZEA, Roberto was BP’s global vice president of project management for major projects, vice president of projects in Asia Pacific, vice president of developments in Alaska, and was named a BP distinguished technical advisor in project management. Prior to that with Bechtel, Roberto led multiple projects in the offshore, deep water, and pipeline sectors, including the world’s largest nitrogen from air capture plant
Roberto holds an M.Sc. in Engineering from Imperial College, London and an MBA from University of Dayton, Ohio.
