“Hi, my name is ____, and I live in ____, California. I am calling in support of the Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act, AB 1243. California taxpayers are facing an unprecedented financial burden from the climate crisis. Unless something changes, people like me will continue to bear the burden of escalating, multibillion-dollar costs. 

Big Oil is responsible for the climate crisis and the Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act is our chance to make them finally pay up for the damage they’ve caused. I urge you to support this bill when it comes up for a vote next week.”
