Advancing Affordability Through  Electrification

Senator Josh Becker is a public policy innovator working at the nexus of community activism, technology and social justice. Elected to the State Senate in November 2020, Senator Becker represents the residents of California’s 13th Senate District. He is the author of several bills focused on accelerating California’s transition to 100% clean energy and net zero emissions.

Senator Henry Stern is a sixth-generation Californian and native of his Senate District, which includes parts of Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Senator Stern currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Joint Legislative Committee on Climate Change Policies and Chair of Joint Legislative Committee on Emergency Management, overseeing California’s carbon neutrality efforts and supporting the acceleration of resilient climate infrastructure. He also serves as the Senate’s Ex Officio member to the California Air Resources Board (CARB). Senator Stern authored SB 261 and co-authored SB 253, landmark climate laws that establish the nation’s first requirements for large corporations to publicly disclose their greenhouse gas emissions, carbon embedded in supply chains, and climate risks.

Allison joined The Climate Center in January of 2025 as the Legislative Manager. In this role, she works closely with the initiative leaders and other staff to ensure California implements policies that effectively reduce climate pollution and secure resilient communities. Allison is The Climate Center’s voice in Sacramento, representing the organization to advocate and build coalitions and partnerships to support The Climate Center’s goals and secure a climate-safe future for all.
