You are invited to the next community gathering, Tuesday, August 31, 5:30 to 7:30, Glaser Center in Santa Rosa, for a presentation about geothermal energy in Sonoma County. Bruce Carlsen, Director, Environmental, Health & Safety, Calpine, will speak about the importance of geothermal energy in the switch from fossil fuels to renewables. This is a free event. No need to RSVP.
Community gatherings are an opportunity for the community to learn, mingle with friends and network with new folks. They are potluck style, so please bring something to share–finger food or drink. If you would like to co-sponsor (help promote the event, have literature at the event, have your name on promotional material), or for other information, please contact Lora Neffson (707) 525-1665 x114, or lora@theclimatecenter.org.
