Sachu Constantine

Sachu Constantine is the Executive Director of Vote Solar, where he leads Vote Solar’s efforts to advance equitable clean energy policies and expand access to affordable solar power. With nearly three decades of experience in the energy and environmental field, Sachu is a leading national expert in the regulatory landscape of the solar industry. At Vote Solar, Sachu leads strategy to shape utility regulation and expand solutions like distributed energy resources and virtual power plants that can provide reliable, affordable power while reducing the need for major grid investments. Before his role, he served as Director of Policy at the Center for Sustainable Energy and held senior roles at SunPower, the California Public Utilities Commission, and the Alliance to Save Energy. Sachu holds degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of California, Berkeley.
