Pooja Agarwal joined The Climate Center in July 2025 as the Community Energy Resilience Policy Manager. In this role, she manages research projects, collaborates with stakeholders, drafts policy communications, and tracks relevant legislation and regulation.
Before joining The Climate Center, Pooja conducted research on climate and energy policy, clean energy supply chains, and equitable stakeholder engagement as a graduate student. She worked in the philanthropic sector prior to graduate school, most recently coordinating grantmaking strategy and operations in the Climate Initiative at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation.
Pooja holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Master of Public Policy from UC Berkeley. She lives in Oakland and enjoys indoor rock climbing and exploring local hiking trails.
