As Director of Regulatory and Legislative Affairs for Peninsula Clean Energy, Joe oversees PCE’s regulatory and legislative efforts before state and federal agencies and the state legislature. Prior to joining PCE, Joe was a partner with the law firm Keyes, Fox & Wiedman LLP. Joe was also a founding principal of EQ Research LLC, a renewable energy consulting firm.
Over the course of his career, Joe has worked with a broad spectrum of government, private, and nonprofit clients to achieve fundamental
market transformation in the energy industry. Creating opportunities for energy consumers to access solar, electric vehicles, energy efficiency, and other distributed energy technologies as part of foundational strategies to address climate change is his passion. He holds a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley and a Masters in Regulatory Economics from the Illinois State University.
