Allison Hilliard

Legislative Manager

Allison joined The Climate Center in January of 2025 as the Legislative Manager. In this role, she works closely with the initiative leaders and other staff to ensure California implements policies that effectively reduce climate pollution and secure resilient communities. Allison is The Climate Center’s voice in Sacramento, representing the organization to advocate and build coalitions and partnerships to support The Climate Center’s goals and secure a climate-safe future for all. 

Before joining The Climate Center, Allison served as the Policy Manager for Reimagine Power, leading a team focused on making renewable and distributed energy resources more accessible and affordable through policy and legislative efforts. Allison also worked as a Legislative Aide for the Hawaii Solar Energy Association where she began to learn the ins and outs of policy. 

Allison earned dual degrees in Economics and Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at her local Pure Barre studio with friends, reading Sarah J. Maas’s books, or strolling through the tree-lined streets of beautiful Sacramento.
