Diane Doucette is a climate advocate with 20 years’ experience building support and coalitions to address the climate crisis. She’s had leadership roles in numerous climate campaigns in California, at the federal level and in dozens of states across the country.
Diane was the Director of the Climate Campaign at Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2/NRDC) for 6 years. In 2011, she founded Chambers for Innovation and Clean Energy, a national network of chambers of commerce focused on addressing the climate crisis in states and communities throughout the US. She served as its first Executive Director for 9 years.
Diane spent the first 10 years of her policy career working internationally – first as an advisor to the new Russian government following the collapse of the Soviet Union and then as a liaison between the Russian government and the foreign business community.
She has a PhD from UC Berkeley in Political Science.
