Katrina Leni-Konig works at the California Energy Commission (CEC). As part of CEC’s Energy Research and Development Division, Katrina Leni-Konig leads a team that develops technology scale-up and outreach initiatives to accelerate a just transition to a clean energy future. She and her team oversee the CEC’s design-build competitions to transform underserved neighborhoods into some of the most technologically-advanced clean energy communities in the world. She has extensive knowledge of a broad range of clean energy technologies, having conducted energy assessments and laboratory performance testing and evaluation of emerging clean energy technologies in her previous role as Senior Engineer for PG&E. Katrina serves as the lead for energy equity initiatives and acts as Assistant Tribal Liaison in support of CEC research programs. Katrina is committed to bringing together diverse stakeholders to address the multifaceted challenges of achieving a resilient and regenerative society.
