Susan Longville is a water policy analyst that has worked in the public and private sectors of California for decades. Susan retired from California State University, San Bernardino in 2012 where she served as the Director of the Water Resources Institute. Appointed by Governor Jerry Brown, Susan also served two terms on the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board. In 2014, Susan looked to public service and was elected to the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District in 2014, a wholesale water agency that provides imported water from the State Water Project to 800,000 residents in Southern California’s Inland Empire to augment local water supplies. She has served as President and now as the senior member of the Board is focused on the completion of a Climate Resiliency and Adaptation Plan and the establishment of Headwaters Partnership with the San Bernardino National Forest.
