Susan Longville is a water policy analyst that has worked in the public and private sectors of California for decades. Susan was elected to her first term in the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District in 2014 and two years later was chosen by her colleagues to serve as Board President. She was re-elected to her second term in 2018. Susan represents Division III that is comprised of communities in the San Bernardino Valley located below the mountains stretching east to west including San Bernardino, Highland, Muscoy, and other incorporated areas. Susan is also a member of the Founding Board of Directors for the Southwest Megaregion Alliance, and a former Council Member in the City of San Bernardino (1998-2006). She has also been Director of the Water Resources Institute (WRI) at California State University San Bernardino and was twice appointed by the Governor to serve as a Director on the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board. Susan has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Redlands, a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin, and a Master of Arts degree in Management from Claremont Graduate School.
