Napa County Climate Protection

Work and Findings, 2008 – 2009
MIG and the Climate Protection Campaign

In 2008 the Napa County Transportation and Planning Agency (NCTPA) received a climate protection grant from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD). NCTPA contracted with MIG, a Berkeley-based consulting firm, and the Climate Protection Campaign to perform the work. Staff at NCTPA, the County of Napa, and Napa’s five cities also invested considerable time in this work.

In 2009 the Napa Valley Community Foundation contracted with MIG and the Climate Protection Campaign to refine the greenhouse gas inventory and to produce a white paper in which high impact/high leverage actions for reducing emissions in Napa County were identified.

We are pleased to make the documents produced as part of this work available online.
